Apply for an electronic travel authorization (eTA)

Applying for an eTA is a simple process that is done online. Most applicants will receive their eTA (via email) within minutes. However, some applications may take several days to process if you are asked to submit additional documents. It is best to obtain the eTA before booking your flight to Canada.
