Once granted, an Authorization is valid for five years or until the expiration date of your passport, whichever comes first. If you have received a new passport since your last Application, you will need to apply for a new Authorization. Applications can be made online and are typically approved within minutes.

Travellers are advised to apply at least one week before departure to Canada. If you have recently applied for an Authorization and the application status is showing as "Not Found," please allow a few hours for the application to be processed before checking again. Please ensure that the information you provide is correct.
